Saturday, April 24th at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield Lake from 6p-9p, we will be holding a charity event to raise money so we can continue to help children in need. We could not be so successful without the support from our community so please join us.

We will have a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and items to auction include: passes to Great Wolf Lodge and African Safari, Monster Tan tanning package, gift certificate to Puffers Floral Shoppe, tickets to Regal Cinemas and more!
Kids eat free during the event with the purchase of an adult meal and will receive a free balloon while supplies last. See me at the event or email me for a flyer to redeem for free kids meal.

April 24th 6p-9:30p at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield is our annual charity event to raise funds so we can continue to sponsor such amazing programs. Please save the date and more info will follow.
At the beginning of fall we will sponsor our “Secret Shopper” program where we will provide homeless and underpriviliged children with new outfits to start off the school year with in addition to giving them a free haircut. Please stay tuned as more info will follow.

On November 30th, Angels for Kids took over the Joey and Me hair salon for the evening and provided local homeless and unfortunate children with free haircuts. The girls received the royal treatment and felt like princesses, the boys, well they were just so happy to have lots of delicious food to eat which was compliments of Debbie Dixon with Your Delhi in Amherst. The mothers of the children got an extra surprise as Joey, the owner of the salon, provided them with free cuts as well. Some of the mothers were in tears and said this was the self esteem boost they needed. Jasmone, 7, approached me and after thanking me for her beautiful blonde curls, said “do you know what the best things in life are?”then said, “the best things in life aren’t things” That saying took on a whole new meaning.

On December 23rd, Angels For Kids hosted a Christmas party for the mothers and children living in The Faith House. Local girl scouts were on hand and assisted the kids in singing Christmas carols, decorating cookies and crafts. East of Chicago pizza in Amherst donated an overwhelming amount of pizza allowing the moms to take whole pizzas home with them.
